Paintings, sea, people, spaces and childhood dreams - all of these were poured to a sandbox during the winter months of 2020 under the Corona sky into 37 figures on the beach captured at a given moment (Oil on paper). The paintings featured as an installation on the beaches of Israel & UK; attached to wooden poles stucked in the sand; against the background of the sky, waves interacting with the local scene.
Imagining different reality; in which color and shape harmoniously rule, where sensuality and naiveté converge; and liberated body postures bring to life an ensemble of women ornamented with vegetable hats, flirting with lettuce, cabbage and garden radish. While creating the collage boards presented in Album Leket I found myself creating this reality. November 2018
“The Flamingo Is Not Silly” is children’s poem book written by my father, Ezra Morad and illustrated by me. The book is a collaborative work, published on May 2017. I’ve joined the project and illustrated it with humor and imagination to express my own connection to the spirit of the book and to my father’s writing. All paintings (oil on paper) assembled onto boards demonstrating the illustration process, from individuals paintings to the final composed pages. May 2017
On the wide open southern beaches of Israel, I have discovered a modern race of the legendary “Amazons” - Russian immigrant elderly women, exposing their solid massive body to the warmth of the Israeli sun, standing upright with their bikinis, letting each fold and wrinkle reveal years passed, ignoring the contemporary perceptions and fashion rules - Free with their body, Free at last - Free with their lust. Wandering the Jaffa alleys, sights changing, blending consciousness and imagination, glory with destruction, layers of colors, wires and pipes revealing and disguising rural history passed with modern necessities and urban tempo. The colors are reminiscent of a forgotten grandeur lives. Jaffa in my mind is love, intimacy and untamed freedom coupled with alienation, tension and estrangement. July 2017

Old family pictures taken while walking Manhattan's streets, assembled with random collection of art postcards, into one collage. I began creating this picture in July 2014, soon as I've moved to live in the southern of Israel, Sderot. It was a long digesting process that began with eight separate panels, composed into one and almost 4 years, on and off, touching and leaving, with variety of materials and moods transformed into one long imaginary story.

Storytelling, repurposing & resuming are in the process of rummaging & flipping through forgotten magazines, searching for the pictures. Sometimes it starts with a general theme, dominant colour or the shape of a surface I’ve chosen to cover. The coherent composition evolves by the layers & images movement, giving the viewer a dual outlook; suspend observation to discover the complex, layers and disguised figures or to have a quick look of the uniform surface.
